Lisette + Joel got married in the rain!

Dreams do come true, and for Lisette, hers came true the day of her wedding!

         An hour before saying her vows in front of family and friends, Lisette had a big decision to make: to do the ceremony outdoors as planned, or move it indoors. The rain was pouring and there was no sign of sunshine, but Lisette followed her heart and decided to get married with Joel under the rain.

          A few minutes before she walked down the aisle, one of the most important people in Lisette’s life surprised her. Her grandmother came! She thought her grandma was not able to attend her wedding – so when she saw her coming, walking down the aisle before her, Lisette became more emotional. It was beautiful to watch.

         Lisette walked down the aisle in the rain, with her 17 foot long cathedral veil draped so carefully in the back of her head, flowing down ever so softly, gracefully touching the wet ground, towards the man of her dreams. The rain set a very airy and subtle mood. It was magical!

Fun fact, the veil was handmade by her mom!

          Lisette and Joel’s officiant was Lisette’s father, who also happens to be their pastor in their church.
