In Arlington, VA, destiny brought Jason and Katrina together in 2008. Their friendship flourished during graduate studies, leading to a love story that unfolded over the years. In 2015, a casual pizza meet-up turned into a heartfelt night, marking the beginning of their inseparable bond. 

Their love story took a romantic turn in December, with Jason planning a secret engagement. A trip to Middleburg, VA, immersed them in the magic of Christmas decorations, culminating in a surprise proposal in a cabin adorned with lights. 

Their wedding was a blend of classic and modern at the Larz Anderson House. The elegant venue, with its gilded age decor, perfectly complemented their vision of a winter wedding. Their celebration was filled with personal touches, reflecting their cultural heritage and shared history.

From gold “double happiness” bottle openers to a cocktail hour featuring modern Chinese dim sum, every detail was a testament to their unique love story. Jason’s brother’s surprise performance and a late-night pizza snack added to the joy of their celebration.
