KANDICE + CHRIS ENGAGEMENT

          Pensacola Beach, Florida – before the Summer ended, I had the opportunity to photograph Kandice and Chris’s engagement at the beautiful Pensacola Beach. It was my very first destination engagement session and I’m definitely looking forward for more!

          I was too excited that morning that I skipped breakfast, drove a couple of miles from my hotel to the Island Cross at Pensacola Beach. It’s a landmark where a white cross standing tall on top of a big pile of white sand dunes. It was the first location for their engagement session.

          I wanted their photos to be extra special, simple and raw. So I started documenting Kandice and Chris’s engagement, and found out more about their love story as soon as they begun walking towards the beach.

          Kandice and Chris met through mutual friends. They became good friends for a while before they started dating.

          In 2013, a few days before Christmas, Chris proposed to Kandice. He slipped the ring on Kandice’s finger while she was asleep! When she woke up, it took  her 45 minutes before realizing that a beautiful ring was on her finger, she is finally engaged! Their wedding planning is still on going, slowly but surely.

          These two are so in love with each other, I din’t have to tell them much on what to do during their engagement session – all I had to do was wait for their magic moments and capture them!

         After capturing some fun and intimate moments at the beach, we headed to our second location which is at Fort Pickens.  The location is very rustic, a totally different scene from the blue and emerald color of the beach. Kandice picked the best outfit for this location.

          We got the shot very quickly at our second location but since the beach at the Fort Pickens is close by, we went back and got some more photos by the beach! I was in cloud nine while taking their photos!

          This destination engagement was definitely a treat! Finally! Some of my long awaited envisioned beach couple photos have finally came alive. I am ready for the next!
