LUCKY 7!

         I will never forget the day when my wife and I said “I DO” to each other. Other than the fact that you just can’t forget your wedding anniversary, nature gives me a very beautiful reminder every year this time around: cherry blossoms that are in full bloom in front of my in-law’s home! These were the same trees we picked petals from and used for our wedding! Let’s talk about money saving! [smile]

         Every year we try to do different things to celebrate our anniversary, but this year, it’s a bit different because my wife is pregnant! We just wanted to relax and spend time with each other. Want to know what we did? Oh well, we ate lunch at my in-laws and then left our son, Alex, with Ma and Pa so we can go watch “The Fate of the Furious.” That movie was pretty cool, by the way! After the movie, we went back to pick up our son and noticed that Pa prepared dinner so we ate there again. That’s it! No fancy schmancy dinner because it just didn’t feel like that kind of night tonight.

         Tonight, as I’m typing this, my wife is waiting for Alex to finish his shower and then it’ll be reading time before bedtime. It’s that kind of night. Family night. And that’s what it really is all about for me.
